At what age do girls use professional skincare like day&night cream.?

Im 18 and I would like to upgrade my skincare regime. Now I only use either facial foam to wash my face (when im lazy) but when I have the time,I will use cleansing milk, toner and a face mask.

How do I prevent nasties like wrinkles(don't want them to start too early!) I have some pimples as I am still a teen and my skin is slightly oily.

Any suggestions of the age when a girl should start a proper routine would be greatly appreciated.

And girls, plz kindly do share with me your skincare routine!

Im a NOOB!At what age do girls use professional skincare like day%26amp;night cream.?
My mom started me out at 14 with the minor stuff.

thank god.

Don't stick with the same routine too long, alternate the routine you like most with another one sometimes.

Try baking soda to exfoliate the dead skin cells.

Use sunscreen on sensitive areas: face, neck, hands, ears, well allover.

Never wear your makeup to bed. Try noxema or ponds to take it off.

Use preparation H for under your eyes and neck. Oh, and hands.

Try Aztec healing clay (mask), get it at a health food store, it's good.

Get a good firming/renewal cream for night and something lighter with sunscreen for day.

Clinique, Cetaphil, or neutragena are good soaps. Use a soft pad when cleaning your face.

Clinique astringent after that or try seabreeze.

Loreal hydrarenewal worked well for me then I alternated. Ponds is good, try the mexican one.

Concha cream is good for darker areas on skin.

I LOVE THE SUN, BUT IT DOESN'T DO JUSTICE. ALSO, DON'T FROWN, YOU DON'T WANT A LINE BETWEEN YOUR EYEBROWS.

WHEN SLEEPING, SLEEP WITH YOUR HEAD ON 1 PILLOW, SO YOU DON'T CRUNCH YOUR NECK.

BE GENTLE WITH YOUR SKIN, DON'T OVER DO IT!!!

TRY PUTTING A CLAYMASK ONLY ON PIMPLES AFTER YOU SHOWER. I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH PIMPLES BUT I'D TRY PREPARATION H TO SHRINK THEM.

KEEP YOUR FACE CLEAN, FORGET ABOUT FOUNDATION TILL YOUR SKIN CLEARS UP, AND CARRY AROUND SOME NOXEMA SKIN PADS SINCE YOUR FACE IN OILY.

THE OIL CAUSES BUILD UP, WHICH CAN CAUSE PIMPLES.

THEY SAY AVEENO IS GOOD FOR THE SKIN, BUT OLAY, AND PONDS ARE GOOD.

TRY TO KEEP AWAY FROM PRODUCTS WITH TOO MUCH FRAGRANCE, IF POSSIBLE NONE. AND DON'T PICK ON FACE.

TRY THE HEALTHFOOD STORES FOR NATURAL PRODUCTS.

EVERYONES SKIN IS DIFFERENT, NO MAGAZINE HAS ALL THE FACTS. SO GET TO KNOW YOUR SKIN.

YOU CAN'T REMEDY WRINKLES AT 50 WITHOUT A DOCTER, SO KEEP IT UP NOW.

YOU ONLY HAVE ONE FACE REMEMBER?!!!!!At what age do girls use professional skincare like day%26amp;night cream.?
I do hope you recognized Angela B's response as sarcasm.

You really don't need any of that crap. If you don't want wrinkles, here's the best advice out there:

1. Use sunscreen when outdoors - the sun causes more damage than anything.

2. Drink plenty of water.

3. Maintain balanced nutrition.

4. Live a reasonably active lifestyle.

5. Keep your skin clean and moisturized - and this doesn't require a medicine cabinet or counter full of expensive designer products, but a quality, eco-friendly cleanser (and toner, if absolutely necessary) %26amp; moisturizer will do. You can find natural, non-toxic products at many treehugger stores (aka organic food markets).

Don't buy into the Lancome bull.$hit. Most of those products have you putting toxins on your skin... and you're worried about premature aging! Just imagine what 40 years of applying poison to your face will do to it!

Good luck.
I have very oily skin and approaching 30, and no wrinkles. I have started using clinique's puffing eyes cream. (it came in a free gift and I love it)

- I wash with Nuetrogena Acne Stress foaming face wash

- Nuetrogena Clear Pore toner

- morning I use a tinted moisturizer with some spf

-night I use Skin Ceauticals moisturizer (its very light)

I have tried all sorts of products (proactive, and other expensive stuff) This is what has worked great for me.
Listen sister- you don't have a moment to lose! Run - don't walk- to the nearest cosmetics counter! A girl needs to start as soon as she hits puberty and buy the most expensive stuff you can afford!
